Paul has over 30 years’ experience in suppling steel to the construction industry. Over the last 25 years he has built the business up from making brackets & one off fabricated items to the successful business it is now with a broad range of structural steel products and architectural steelwork.
Paul is our Responsible Welding Co-ordinator which is mandatory under the welding standard ISO BS EN 1090 -1:2009+A1:2011. Paul has also completed the CITB Directors Responsibilities for Health & Safety and the DHF Powered Gate Diploma.
Margaret has been part of the team since 2005 and is responsible for the overall management of the business. Her role covers Human Resources Management, Health & Safety, Quality Management & ISO 1090 Welding Standard, upkeep/implementation of standards and the overall responsibility for production planning and scheduling. The creation of Pre-qualification questionnaires for new and current customers. Margaret has a broad range of H & S knowledge and has passed the CITB Managers and Professionals Health, Safety & Environment Test and is currently studying for the NEBOSH Health & Safety Construction qualification.
Mike became part of our team in 2010 and has been our workshop supervisor for 4 years. He is responsible for all of the workshop machinists, fabricators, labourers and apprentices.
He has recently completed the IOSH Managing Safely qualification and is currently studying for the CITB Construction, leadership and Management Training (CILM).
